If for any reason you do need to claim, do it asap, we didn't know there was a time limit and we missed it by 2 days when we went to claim medical expenses for my wife when she got sick on holiday.

Did you get the annual policy or just the single trip? The annual policy is rather good and not that expensive.

Sleep at Night Factor is not to be underestimated. I love it because it covers anything 200km away from Perth so any interstate trips are covered too which would be handy for you going to Melb.

Covermore - took this policy out for my daughter, her airbnb got broken into her second travelcard got stolen $3000 gone

Phoned covermore, she is only covered for $100, limit on this

I should have read the fine print...

Doesn't Tracelcard come with a PIN? Don't they protect the card? Otherwise there's no advantage of a card over cash.

Yes, it does come with a pin, I don't know how they accessed the money. I have not been able to discuss it in full with my daughter as yet.
Bank informed hopefully they will refund money.

Often the pins are printed on the card and covered with a scratch-off seal.
When we used to use travel cards we were told to treat them like cash.
