I've got a Barrier Reef cruise booked for March 2022, but now give it ~25% chance of happening. Don't expect to go back to see family in UK until 2023

Visit friends in UK and Europe. Maybe some hiking in Romania ( a friend worked in the car industry there ).

I would like to do more trekking in Nepal. That might need to wait a bit longer.

My concern is the potential prices of airfares. I wonder how airlines will adjust to a post-pandemic world. What changes will we see.

I don't expect to be travelling overseas until 2023.

I once slept off an almighty hangover on a park bench next to the lake. Beautiful spot.

Vietnam - so the in-laws can finally meet their grandson and my 18 month old son can meet half his family.

But sadly Vietnam is having major COVID problems at the moment.

We had plans to spend a month in Colombia in July 2020 ... given how badly things are going for them over there still, I don't know how long it will be before we're be able to visit and what state the country will be in when we do :(

Airlie Beach in October; 50:50 chance if our friends from Southern states will be able to join us.

80th birthday in the UK in November: 0 chance I think

I'd love to go somewhere. Anywhere! Sadly I don't think it's happening in a hurry.

2024 is realistic…. Not happy about it, just a realist considering we can’t even travel between States in our own country at the moment….

A family member is going to get married. The big wedding has already been cut to an intimate "elopement". But now even that has been cut back. They are in NSW where the wedding was to take place (having originally been planned for Victoria). But four of the six planned guests, all immediate family, are in Victoria and won't be able to make it.

If the wedding were to be postponed, the wedding dress would no longer fit.

So the travel issue doesn't only affect overseas travel.

Well, you can move to Queensland, and from there, you should be able to travel further afield.

As a Sydneysider in the middle ring, i'm not allowed to visit Sydney city or Blue mountains. (I have no valid reason to have to be in either of those locations). Quite a sad reality really. Don't get me wrong, I support the lockdown though.

Not at the moment, we can't. Just made the difficult decision to extend the tenant's lease for another 6 months. Not possible for us to go anywhere until April now, so hopefully they'll be no more lockdowns after this.

I've booked to go to Queensland in early September. It'll happen or it wont. Futile complaining about it if it doesn't happen.
