Hi guys, just doing my DD on a property - I would need to remove an in ground pool and some sheds and need quotes ASAP to ensure the purchase is going to stack up. Logan area.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would need them to quote me in the next week.

    Cheers

Assume it was a fibreglass pool?

Yep ok cool, I have received plenty of quotes but only for concrete pools, thats still really cheap anyway. Not sure about QLD, but in NSW you need to report to council and get the removal updated on their system which isnt a huge cost but still around $500 or so. Also need to consider re-turfing after pool removed and hole filled.

The removal itself was $2,800 and the certification process with council was $700.

    Cheers,

Did you guys just get the pool destroyed and disposed of? Are you able to share your contact? I've got a property I need to remove a fibreglass pool from also.

I read that there is a small market for second hand fibreglass pools which is interesting.

Hmm @Michael_X did you look into this? I have a friend in NSW currently trying to sell his pool on Gumtree... Would be interested to know peoples' experience with this...

It's a bit tricky to check past sales on Gumtree, but eBay make it pretty easy. There are a couple of sold pools there, but I guess it will all depend on demand in your area.

The way I see it, I'm going to dump it anyways so if I have a chance of getting $1k in my pocket then it's worth trying!
