    Hi all.

Just looking to pick some brains for a ppor. Ive found a front townhouse of a block of 4 all fully detached in melbourne's inner east with decent views of a valley and within our budget. This is the only place in the area that meets our size and budget requirements as it is slightly cheaper than others on the market probably due to it being on a steep slope.

What is turning me off is the deep enclosed crawl space /subfloor than os pretty much larger than the living room which you can access under the rear of the house which resembles a sloping cave and runs the full length of the back of the house. Is this common or is this a design fault that would pose a danger in the future.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Also any thoughts on steep blocks vs decent views.

    Thanks

Underfloor access makes it easier when you come to refurbish a bathroom and need to access pipes or need to treat termites etc.

If someone has done the hard work of building on the slope, take up the baton.
