I know the OP is new, but OP please use the search button as well to form your own views. Property investing is hard work and requires careful planning or else it can set you back a number of years. Besides, a particular area that an investor may be interested in, may not be suitable for your own personal goals.

If it helps your search, how about Australia except for WA?

Researching state/local-council growth forecasts is a good place to start. Use that as a guide to focus your research. Then look at drivers for growth in individual areas. From there look at what is happening in individual suburbs.

One of my posts from last year:

    Property/financial advisers necessary?

Within 10km from the cbd in Brisbane. Good upside given low cost and good yields.

The Greater Brisbane figures look fairly healthy, the overall state picture is currently dragged down by much of regional Qld.
