How about the Loaded Gun movies? With Emilio Estevez? I think there was a Charlie Sheen one too?

Its on Presto. I haven't watched True Detective yet.

I have just started the second series and it is a different story line with many of the same actors playing different roles.

There is a reason that chick flicks exist!

You could argue that the good chick flicks are the most important movies to know because those are the ones that you are going to have to watch several times on dates and the like ;) Hitch, Friends with Benefits and Crazy, Stupid, Love are the 3 that I can personally watch multiple times without wanting to jump out the window :)

Haven't watched that one in so long... would want to be careful who you watch that one with after all the damage Mel has done to his image/popularity :)

I fricken could not stand that movie. It does not show not what women actually want. It was a movie showing what guys think women want....

Of these 3 I think I've only seen Hitch.. I don't remember it but I have a feeling it wasn't deep enough for me.

Not into all the action movies myself, but picking just five is not easy. Perhaps:
    • Pulp Fiction
    • Chicago (the musical)
    • Rocky Horror
    • Cabaret
    • Butch Cassidy & Sundance
I'm something of a fan of musicals.

TV series are even harder, as there are a lot of years to go back to. It's gonna be more than five.
    • Monty Python
    • Moorcambe & Wise
    • Till Death Do Us Part
    • Open All Hours
    • The Lone Ranger
    • Beverley Hillbillies
    • Callan
    • Dr Who (classic and recent)
    • The Singing Detective (original British version)
    • Lipstick On Your Collar
    • The Sopranos
    • Battlestar Galactica (the more recent series)
    • Breaking Bad
    • Big Bang Theory
    • The Americans
A lot of good shows over the years though.

    Yes! Just finished season 3,
    So good.

Don't have a top 5 movies - it changes too often.
    Top favs growing up were:
    - fight club
    - matrix
    - monty python (any)
    - Wayne's world
    - ferris buellers day off
    - toy story

I'm really into my comic-inspired shows now,
    - shield, flash, daredevil, Jessica jones, Gotham.
