Too late to build a hotel in Melb?

    Interesting all my friends are busy doing hotels now.

    With Ritz Carlton opening soon, and more people snapping up entire floors in apartment buildings to run Airbnb businesses (I know many who've done this), I wonder how well hotels will fare once they complete.

    What type of hotel are you talking about? If assuming just a small conversion then I think supply should be the least of your concern.
