Wow... I bought the "cheapest" one from Bunnings only 2-3 years ago and I recall it was around the $6-7 mark. That's a big price-rise for you! Maybe we should be investing in toilet seats rather than property itself! Toilet seats are out-performing property! :p:p:p

Caroma Cube SEAT - May as well be made of gold. No after market seat fits it. $380 at its cheapest.

Install one of these and never buy a toilet seat again!

Just make sure the tenants don't leave those grubby finger marks on the wall.

    Wow. Some tenants are tightarses.

In a couple of places I rented I just replaced the toilet seat myself.

Plenty of room there for a wheel chair. Though, wouldn't want to use it if morbidly obese. Get stuck and the fire crew will probably sledgehammer the wall and door jamb down to get you out.

I haven't read the whole thread but don't go for the cheapest.
Its a personal thing. Something they contact. Spend $50 get a nice one and they will appreciate it.

All well and good if you're close.. 1200km is a fair distance to travel to change a toilet seat ;)

I've allowed a certain amount, and the tenant can choose whatever they want up to that figure. If they want something more dear, they can put in for it. I'm currently sitting on a $20 one and it's comfy as anything. I've allowed more than that for them to choose. Shouldn't have any issues, unless they want the $380 caroma one lol.
