Can't talk on her behalf ,but that was verbal agreement which we put on writing later on ,she probably realised it's not perfect for her ,but it looks like she accepted and want to move on ASAP,and do not spend money on lawyers etc , wasn't forced or anything ,we just want to be free from each other

Just worried ,it might be rejected (not just and equitable) ,despite we agreed about buyout amount etc
I Already got unconditional approval for the finance ,if that matter

I’m a family lawyer and I would have no idea because I’m not your family lawyer who’s job it is to answer this sort of question and who is the only person who has enough information to do so.

She said that should go through , eventually my ex might answer few questions if she is satisfied with the deal etc
    But I still have doubts

Fair enough, but I can't see how fishing for random opinions online would help with that.

Or if it does, then I'd say you're doing it wrong.

One of my least favourite things from my clients is when I give them advice, and then they come back afterwards with a redundant question or thing they did because they were advised by friends/family/randoms online.

I had a discussion about that with a client who is a medical specialist. He is constantly asked about ""hairbrained ideas"" by ill informed people who hear the dumbest things from family, friends, online and facebook. eg I heard that eating spinach will stop my cancer. He finds himself having to explain that while things may sound good for you it doesnt mean they cure cancer and the best approach is to accept the wisdom of a specialist. He offers them time to seek a second opinion but cautions they could suffer if they delay. They dont.

For professionals who learn about rule based outcomes such as tax, law and medicine etc (a long list) it can be a frustrating event but we usually just smile nicely and avoid rolling our eyes and saying Oh for ****s sake.....

Care has to be taken. A post from Pete Evans or Karen from Bunnings is very different to a post by a well regarded family law expert ....who probably knows jack about your situation and would remain silent.. Reminds me of the scene in The Castle when the QC comes to his home to suggest he may have a idea. and Dale was relying on the wisdom of his solicitor denis denuto.
