    Hi all,

Wondering what tips people have for going through a purchase on a property outside your local area or interstate? Thinking of using a buyers agent to help but would like to know how others have managed themselves hopefully without spending lots of time and money visiting the areas/properties of interest in person.

Good question, I can't help but am also interested to hear thoughts on this. And have you or would you trust buyers agents to buy for you without seeing a property in person?

Sorry you didn't receive any advice sooner :(.

Weird that there was no comments at the time!

If you're inclined to do the research yourself, it'll be heaps cheaper to pay for flights and a few days accommodation than pay a BA - I'd be inclined to get on the ground and walk around.

That said, we've bought sight unseen interstate before, but we did have family members check it out for us and knew the area quite well already.
