Being a slum Lord I'm quite used to tenants ******* off and leaving a trail of destruction without any real consequences

As you know insurance doesn't cover the most common

Today I get a Call from the agent re a tenant who simply abandoned the property with 2 months of arrears plus 2 x 4cubic Metre skips of rubbish plus 6 mattresses and left the place unlocked with out returning keys.
Who says they will enter a payment plan because they can't get a rental due to being on tica

I can guarantee they won't adhere to it. But at least the system has made a bad situation for the landlord a bit less bad

Doubt you'll see a dime but good luck!

They will probably just find a rental via gumtree. Pretty sure only agencies can access tica.

I would really like to see this type of tenant remain on TICA for at least 10 yrs

They are probably serial offenders, and know all the tricks of the trade. There are many outs ie use another name, references from friends etc etc

They must not have friend who is not listed as well...

Feel sorry for any newbie that tries to do private and scores them.

PS tell them you will remove listing if they donate a kidney to a needy person who is not on the database ☺

My previous tenant did pretty much the same thing.....Sometimes I am thinking should I send him a reminder of the payment on his facebook wall (somehow I found him when i search his name on fb) :)

    Damn that sucks @TMNT

Do you mind if I ask where are these properties located that you're having dramas with?

    Cheers
