    I hit Westpac hard and 2.49% with choice package free. And they backdated the rate 3 months which was a surprise. Then credited the annual fee $395 paid three months earlier

    LVR would be under 60% loan approx 500k
    Would I be eligable for 2.59% with full offset, seems a fare rate and what banks would be offering these?

    No point yet because I can't find what I'm looking for in terms of the property. Just intersted to know what others getting out there at the moment, especially with full offsets and big 4.

    Guess you can ask the question when you're ready then as things are moving all the time in the lending space, what's available today may not be available when you find a place.

    Ok thanks. At the moment generally going one way only so I'd say whats going now would be more than fine for me to gauge off if someone new. I don't want to go around getting pre approval and so on when I have not found the place. I'am very close though, fingers crossed

    as an aside.

    what others are getting isnt what someone else may have access to for various reasons.

    We often get Monday calls from existing clients after a Sat nigh pub talk session where joes rate is 2.19 and our clients is 3.19............

    Why cant I get that ..........

    lots of of obvious reasons such as fixed or variable, PI or IO, IP or OO, volume and LVR

    Thanks and I get that too. I'm after PI variable with full offset for PPOR. My deposit will be about 35% both of us work full time and paid well, no debt of any kind. I feel we should hopefully be in the best possible bracket regarding getting an interest rate but I'm not 100% sure.

    rare to find any fixed rate loans with a full offset... there are few though
