    Hi all,

What are your thoughts on buying in Oran Park for capital growth with the new airport nearby and everything that will come with it?

    10 years or 20?
What budget you are looking at?
When are you looking to buy?

Sounds fine but a lot of opportunity cost lost.

    Regards

There is an enormous amount of development going on around Oran Park, north, south, east, not so much much further west! Like suburbs & suburbs & suburbs are being built. Longer term you'd probably do OK but I would think there would be much better options.

Medium/long term, probably. Only 5 years... why risk it?

Oran Park and surrounds remind me of the US suburbs in the GFC horror stories. IMHO, ground zero if the more extreme predictions of the current cycle play out.

I agree, I think Oran Park is a ghost estate waiting to happen.

feedback from current clients ( who already have IPs in Oran Park) re Oran Park : vacant houses can sit on the market for quite a while before new tenants come forward, lots of new developments. not a very good picture. :(
