Few years ago, I put this up on my Facebook to test my friends' mindset. Not a single soul liked it

That's because growing rich is greedy and evil and no-one wants to publicly admit to liking that ;) So many people recoil at the idea of admitting they're trying to get rich.

    Thanks for that!

Reading this book now, it takes a while to digest.

    Cheers,

Love love Love this book. One of the all time greats.

    My favourite quote is....

“Do not wait: the time will never be 'just right'. Start where you stand, and work whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along.”

    Napoleon Hill

I look forward to this forum being one of the "better tools" just as SS was :)

I struggle to read too. I think it was Rixter said that I need to reach a certain level 'state of mind'

I downloaded the 9 rare recordings of Napolean Hill a few yrs ago and have them on my phone. Over 9 hrs of inspiring wisdom that I listen to from time to time. Great for long road trips. :)
I also ordered one of his old books that was not published until recently. It was written in 1938 and then locked away and hidden by Hill's family for 72 yrs.

"Fear is the tool of a man-made devil. Self confident faith in one's self is both the man made weapon which defeats this devil and the man made tool which builds a triumphant life. And it is more than that. It is a link to the irresistable forces of the universe which stand behind a man who does not beleive in failure and defeat as being anything but temporary experiences" Napolean Hill - Outwitting The Devil.
