I acknowledge that I shouldn't be posting erotic material on a public forum but I installed a new exhaust on my bike the other week. ;);)

Before was the stock unit - one big heavy canister with a triple tip from the factory.

Oh yes, this exhaust will be nearly silent, you'll wonder whether it's electric.

    *cough*

    ;)

Lol yep nice and quiet.. maybe if you're wearing ear plugs. Actually I've installed the optional baffle in the link pipe section to take the edge off the noise as it was a little excessive. Now it's just slightly less than a little excessive.

Unfortunately for those who dislike the noise, noise is a means of survival on motorbikes in built up areas. I don't commute on the bike and I don't start it up at silly hours of the morning or night, but then my neighbours on both sides are in their 90s and are rather deaf so it wouldn't matter if I did.

Electric bikes exist but aren't common. An electric bike racing series is starting next year called Moto E World Cup. This will undoubtedly lead to more development in the area which in turn will likely lead to more electric bikes on the road.
