Can you believe that you & I support these enterprising individuals? Close to 600,000 of them or 2.5% of the entire population.

It must br NEAT to be a NEET

Just do a Google search for the name of the article and you can get round it.

Just a bit of lazy journalism for a slow news day.Their next gig is ACA. Roll out the same old 'entitled' story & how good life on the dole is, chuck in a few kids and never lift a finger for your whole unworking life.

Or copy and paste the link into your private browser.

Give them until they are 25, if they are still the same, sterilise them.

Is that a site for plebs or do you actually mean a plebiscite?
Would seen that Bogans go for quantity rather than quality.

You'd like to think that everybody would genuinely want to work and earn an income to support themselves, but there are always going to be leeches that want everything for free. I think in a lot of cases where people brag about being on the dole or not wanting to work it's actually to cover up their own insecurities and lack of success at being able to attain employment. Even if you work a minimum wage job full-time you're still making 2.5-3x as much money as you get sitting on the dole. At $260 a week it's easy to see why they spend a lot of time sleeping- they can't afford to do much else.

I just can't see anything unusual here. A couple of unemployed kids from the Druitt who prefer to stay on the dole? And there are thousands of them doing the same? Lucky *******s lol.

Is NEET a new phenomenon? It's a complex thing in my opinion and definitely not good for themselves and the society at large. Honest living can't be that difficult.

I have never heard of that before, looked it up:
"a young person who is no longer in the education system and who is not working or being trained for work."
    Is that right?
