I'd take photos of the car blocking your driveway then have it towed and parked somewhere on the street.

    Photo?

I would call Council's after hours number - they may be able to issue a ticket.

Did the Police offer any other advice?

If you have a large vehicle like those big ford F trucks just drive over it than leave a letter saying I didn't see your car, thought it was a speed bump.

Seriously though, ring a towie, put it somewhere out of the way on the street, call a cement truck and fill the front with cement.

Not long ago I may have witnessed someone put 2 trolley jacks under the car and push it a few metres. Very effective and costs nothing (if you can get your hands on 2 jacks). A tow truck will cost you.

    People are inconsiderate arent they

Paint the road (I didn't do it officer)
Put witches hats out. (Small cost)
Buy a baseball bat and take to the car with it ! (Be prepared for jail)

I like the wheel clamp idea ;)

Or stake every tire  (don't get caught putting large screws under the tyres)

Get some white spray paint and mark out spacings in the area like council may do. Do it at night

If it's rear wheel drive (Falcon/Commodore) just jack up the center of the rear axle with a hydraulic trolley jack and roll it down the street. $40 from supercheap auto. Put a piece of rubber on the jack face to protect it, take jack back to shop afterwards. Get 1-2 people to push the car from the front doors whilst you push the car from the rear (pushing the jack ha

The rear wheels share the gearing and hand brake. Only do this on a level surface as once the rear wheels lift off the ground the car will roll away freely if on a slope.

Front wheel drive same thing but jack up front wheels and detatch/cut hand brake cables, as the hand brake on these models locks the rear wheels..

Once we were at a 4 day 'alternative' festival, and thieves were robbing the tents.
We decided we had had enough, and leave early to find we were parked in.
Asked some nice strong blokes to lift a few cars gently, and move them a bit so we could get out..
Can you ask some nice neighbours to help?
    I hope this helps
