What are you plotting and planning to put in ... anything sprouting on the kitchen bench or in the greenhouse?

    No greenhouse.

We're planning on putting in nice pretty flowers only. The house will be on the market before the end of the year.

Still trying to use up the excess of radishes - today's offering - 3 jars of Radish Kimchi

**cannot eat chili due to an intolerance, so am trying a wisp of ground black pepper for kick instead

... painted up the garden labels for the verge herbs today and will put them in tomorrow ... I used to live down from an old Greek guy who had a "take what you need for dinner tonight" policy for his front garden herbs. I loved the idea so much that I'm doing the same, for when you just need a pinch or half a dozen sprigs.

**also have silverbeet - but everyone knows what silverbeet looks like ... :) ... and the front fence will soon be covered with snow pea/sugar snaps peas

There's no flat leaf parsley in that lot.... Goes best unlabelled planted next to the coriander

PS - who needs labels, pot luck is best.

PPS - love the front garden concept, Lil Master No Mates has recently completed a study of community gardens in the LGA. Kudos to North Sydney, Willoughby & Hunters Hill which all have a few. Brickbats to Lane Cove which doesn't. Surprisingly, after his survey was completed, two small gardens popped up by the locals not Council sponsored.

As @datto might tell you, pot is probably not best planted out front. People might think it's a weed.

I love the concept and looking forward to developing a local Crop Swap once my garden is actually producing sufficient to share - fresh and homemade from home grown produce.

p.s. Italian is flat leaf ;)

p.p.s. coriander - blergh - but planted it for others

Yes, but it's much more fun when people can't tell the difference between flat leaf parsley & coriander by sight.

It's warming up out there already (been a warmish & short winter). I've turned & started to prep the garden beds for some new plantings in the next few weeks.

4cu/m of sticky, smelly and delicious mushroom compost moved onto the garden beds ... Apple and lychee trees planted ... can't wait for the nurseries to open back up again!

My shoulders are killing me ... I'm getting to old for this shifting s*** stuff

Mrs is growing green veges and other herbs...

The moment weather changes these comes out busking in Sun...i don't hate them but gives me the jeebies when all of the sidden they run from branches or in garage or other area I am working......came very close to sometimes stepping or trimming (accidently)

Anyone have any opinion on these....

They're great at keeping slugs and snails off your garden.

We've also had larger versions - blue tongues and eastern dragons. I try to make sure I don't frighten them off.

Adorable. Love to see skinks in the garden

Today planted: corn, cucumber, tomato, basil, small watermelon, more strawberries, another passionfruit ... and a bunch of flowering natives and butterfly attracting things.

Thrilled that my new asparagus crowns are "doing their thing" and the garlic is going nuts. Fruit trees are busting out everywhere
