    Haha.

The same sort of response that I would give to a poorly phrased post.

A taste of my own medicine.

Custard Apple time. The crop is so unbelievably sweet and creamy with minimal seeds.

@Nodrog - how big is a custard apple tree? How far south can they grow and fruit? Are they frost tolerant or purely tropical?

Not sure, they need warmth, humidity and summer rain from memory. But a search of the net would soon tell you.

I think the trees grow up to 3m X 3m. Not very big and need very little pruning if any.

Just there to give an idea of their size. I eat them with a desert spoon:). Had one this morning. My god it was fantastic. So sweet, creamy and juicy with not too many seeds.

One of my previous co-workers had a custard apple tree in Sydney which had wonderful fruit he would sometimes share. I tried to plant the seeds, but nothing happened. :(

I've also heard of someone growing them in NSW south coast - so pretty far from tropical

The Boss is keen on growing different coloured Cauliflower lately. Last one was purple and the one just picked (below) green:

I would be interested if the colouring from the caulies turns the cooking water a different colour?

Do they have the same taste as the whites? Caulies are nice and sweet when young and fresh.

Picked about a dozen heavy mandarines this evening, still plenty more on the tree. The blood oranges are still there and sweet as. Lemonades still quite green but putting on weight nicely.

We steam the cauliflower but the water below doesn’t change colour.

Tastes very similar to white but something a little different. I think the color might also trick the taste buds.

Ever eat lots of beetroot? Roasted works best (stuff from a can doesn't seem to).

In addition to red beetroot the Boss grows Pink and white ring, golden yellow and White. Same sweetness as red beetroot but no staining or coloured other stuff:).

    Been slack with updates lately.

Navel oranges, most have been picked now. Beautifully sweet and larger than they look in the photo:

Lemons way overdue for more picking, not sure what to do with them all:

New project commenced. Four more vege beds (2400 x 1200) with irrigation and netted tunnel. Long way to go yet as being held up by wet weather. All I can say is I hate sloping blocks, makes construction of everything more difficult.

The Jaboticaba hedge on right is doing well. I can visualise many many future litres (100’s :)) of red wine from this hedge. Jaboticaba fruit taste like a combination of muscatel grapes and lychees:
