Was going to post this under entertainment, but this is very special show for the animal lovers.

Been watching this extraordinary show and what they can do will blow your mind.

Yep! I agree, very special vet this one, but like you I think it would cost the owners of the pets a lot of money, one of the reasons I dont have a pet any longer - paying thousands for treatment is no longer an option for me. :(

Watched it in Netflix... on the other side of the coin, I can also see why this is a profession with high suicidal rate...

insurance $50 per month may be an option, I have 2 dogs x 2
unfortunately many items not covered which I found out recently like getting teeth cleaned that is an $800 exercise because they need to be knocked out for this procedure.

Any health maintenance are not included unfortunately, and even if they do the amount is a joke. When I'm getting a second dog I'm thinking of a different insurance provider at I think $30 per month. Current one at $50 and if I move him he will lose quite a bit of cover i think. Hope to never need to use them though...

I suspect the pets/owners featuring on the show don't have to pay for their treatment ... but yes ... pets can be expensive and you have to weigh the options of cost for treatment versus quality of life.

    p.s. Love the show
