    anyone know anything about the Shore Apartments at Artarmon.
    Its on the Pacific Hiway, in fact on the corner when you turn from the Gore Hill freeway onto the Pacific Highway.

    They seem to be lagging in price less than other Artarmon prices.
    I guess its about a 25 minute walk to the Railway Station to from there so that maybe a factir why prices are lower unless they have high Strata feess?

    The Shores is a strata'd former motel.

    High strata
    Tiny studios (sometimes 1-2 bedders come up)
    Not that well maintained - looking ratty
    On two major arterials
    High sale and tenant churn keeps prices down
    Its lane cove north not Artarmon, but often advertised as Artarmon

    As per @DaveM - very high strata due to pool, concierge etc.

    Expect high turnover of tenants due to small room sizes (ex-motel - the Shore Inn, dirt from original signage is still visible in the paint after 20 years).

    Suites may be suitable for air bnb.

    I guess DB's question stems from the fact that one of their 2 bedroom suites are for sale at the moment for around the $520-570K mark.

    I am quite tempted to inspect the property too as a PPOR but then realised I'd be paying $119 p/w on strata.

    No thanks!
