    Just saw this

Very violent. The bear attack scene is amazing. Not much of a story but the grusomeness keeps you on the edge of your seat. Not sure if Leo will win the Oscar but it's some of his best work

    Would watch again

    4/5

He deserved an Oscar from almost every movie he did.

Great movie. I watched it at home with average audio. Wish I'd watched it on the big screen.

Eh, I might watch again, but not anytime soon. Good gritty performance, plot was a bit so-so though imo, cinematography was good.

Really felt sorry for Leo by the end haha.

They will probably give him the Oscar. Unless someone comes up with the screenplay for some empowering transsexual story (Disabilities and terminal illness are not as fashionable these days, and have already been done ;) ).

Thought the villain wasn't 'villainous' enough - goof movie but in my mind, a bit overrated.

Without providing any spoilers....to be fair to the guy, Leo blinked. Nuff said, don't want to ruin the movie for anyone.

This movie was overrated, and so was Leo's performance.
Gets attacked by the bear, can't move, drifting in and out of consciousness, can't talk, get's dumped in a grave - and then manages to crawl out. Then he's chasing a healthy person and catches up to them.
Not to mention the constant getting wet in the snow. Nonsense.

    He's vegan.
That's why he's promoting Cowspiracy. Check it out

I liked it but I can't see why it would be nominated for an Oscar but then they gave best picture to forrest gump over pulp fiction. ...

I thought the villain was good. Believable as a desperate man

Yeah, Tom Hardy wasn't meant to be a comic book villain. He was just a man desperate for survival and he saw Leo was an obstacle to that.

Watched up to the crazy bear scene.
Then fast forwarded to where he gets his revenge in the last 5 mins..
2 hours of fluff in between!!

You didn't miss anything. Except some wetness in the snow. Doesn't take long to dry apparently.

Alejandro González Iñárritu has to be one of the most bold and adventurous directors in our time, Kudos to him for
not going out and producing another fast and furious chick flick that would have some guys vaselining up over vin diesels clutch smashing thighs .....anyway I thought this movie was a visceral orgasim but obviously not every ones cup of tea as not everyone views one piece of art in the same light.
