Investment Timeline: 2012 - 3 bedroom house, St Marys, $302,500, Rent $370/week 2013 - 3 bedroom house, St Marys, $310,000, Rent $400/week 2013 - 2 bedroom house, St Marys, $249,000, Rent $320/week 2014 - Manufactured building, St Marys, $60,000, Rent $270/week 2014 - Granny flat, St Marys, $120,000, Rent $330/week 2015 - Granny flat, St Marys, $120,000 (under construction), Expected rent $350/week Also faciliated a few subdivisions, renovations, construction projects for friends and family in Brisbane and Sydney. Currently looking at Medical Centre/In-Care Facility and townhouse development JV's in Sydney and Brisbane. Outside of property I love to chat physical fitness, personal development and social change. Anything that pushes me out of my comfort zone. Really looking forward to continue learning and expanding my knowledge and when possible passing on what I learnt on from my mentors on Somersoft (RIP) and in my off-line world.

Nope. That is what the prices were at the time. It climbed very quickly though. Month before I purchased it was $215k. Dad purchased on my behalf at auction for $249k, I told him my limit was $230k. I was livid. One month later house on same street sold $275k, couldn't wipe the smile off my dads face. Two months later it climbed to $315k so on and so forth. Must be over $400k now.
