Personally I don't think the forum can move a market . We just see where it's going and get in ahead .

Not really something that can be worked out using logic or reasoning at the moment. The so-called PC score is one person's (or one group of people's ?) observation that the number of members reflects the overall health of the property market.
Further, the number of threads on a particular area and the number of members contributing to that thread indicates a booming area.
As you can see though, it's not quite right at this point in time.
Melbourne is booming but there are not many members there :p.
There are many positive and some negative threads and posts focused on Brisbane but in general everyone is still waiting. :p
Frankston is booming but there's only one thread which most people don't read. Same with Hobart and Tasmania. Etc.
Now you can work it out for yourself. Including that some members like to make themselves exclusive by aparently 'knowing' stuff that you don't know. ;) (Please refer The secret of my success thread on Somersoft. :p)
    The secret to my success

The whole thread is a great read but for me post #118 sums it up in a few minutes:

Yes what cities and suburbs are leading the PC Chat Score now in Oct 2021?

Lot's of hype around QLD and market has moved up a lot in certain areas this year.

All you have to do is look at the title of the threads & it will tell a story.

BTW it's the PChat score. it's all about brand recognition ...

At the moment we're finishing renovating our PPOR , working through the planning of our next NDIS property so not really on top of many places at the moment outside where we just bought .
