Hang onto your hats. In SW WA we have the biggest reserve of LITHIUM in the world & the Mine on top of it has doubled it's size in just 3 years. As the demand for lithium batteries grows to supply batteries for electric vehicles , & domestic storage batteries WA will be the hot spot specially around Kwinana & Green Bushes where the mineral is processed & mined respectively. Also the Busselton / Margaret River International Airport is due to be completed this year of 2018 which will be a huge boost to property sales in the lower SW. & south of WA making country towns such as Nannup. Capel. Boyanup. Donnybrook, & Dardanup easy prey for bargain properties for sale ATM , don't leave it too late though!
I worked on front end engineering on the previous large expansion at the greenbushes site. Once construction is completed were talking in the range of 100 extra people max. Doesn't take alot of man power to sit in a control room and watch the screens.
Same with most resource projects. It's the construction of the project or expansion which creates the most jobs then once in production needs a lot less people. Having said that it's nice to see another resource in the mix for WA to help balance our iron ore, gold and oil/gas.
