    Do you like your bath?
What kind of bath do you have and would you recommend it?
    What are the dimensions?
    And what's it made of?
    Photos welcome.

Mine's totally average but I'd love the one in your pic. Hope you're thinking of treating yourself with one of those :)

I think someone needs to invent comfortable baths. I am yet to see one that looks comfortable. I want one I can float in!

Not one of those corner spa baths. My other half can't get into ours and I can't get out. We use for storing bulk toilet paper!

I don't like the steps. Means that there is a big step down into the bath. Less stable than the usual type of access, from floor level.

My best bath experience was in Japan where my apartment had a Japanese bath. They are shorter and much deeper than the baths we have here.

I have fond memories of soaking in water up to my ears in a Japanese bath.

I know! They're not really very comfortable! Floating would be surreal.

The house I'm in now has one of these. Takes forever to 'fill' but it never seems to be deep enough. Or warm enough.

This is the one I chose for our bathroom. I find it quite comfortable. It has a flat bottom and a nice place to rest your back. The only thing I'd do differently is probably choose a narrower one as this takes a lot of water, but when I take a bath I don't fill it too high as I'm not one to soak for more than five minutes. I get too hot. Hubby soaks in this when he's had a strenuous day on the shovel.

It is 80 x 160 x 46 deep in the middle, fits two easily. This is stone, but you can get the same style in acrylic.

I bought it on eBay. Our son has just installed the same bath from the same seller in his recent renovation.

That's beautiful. I like that your back is comfortable too. Thanks for measurements.
Do you remember the manufacturer @wylie ?

You're a go getter, not a dreamer from what I see.

I used to have an acrylic spa bath that had arm rests and a head cushion :D

Have been looking for a two person version (on and off)

Need to ensure there's a shelf for the scotch and TimTam's:cool:
When I eventually do the reno

I like the look of this one but I think the step is actually making it a bit more dangerous.

My ideal bath size is of a small pool ;) but one that fit my body length and width would be a good start

I agree. The steps look dangerous! Stepping over the edge of a bath is much easier than stepping down into a bath.

I am 5'10.5 with long legs.... so baths are not my friend.

If we had the space we'd so love to have a deep Japanese soaking bath... much easier to completely submerge than a traditional long shallow bath shape.
