    Not so many wins considering he has a favourable senate.

    Other leaders are not jumping through hoops - they are working with the hand they are dealt to keep the economy of the world moving. Doesn't mean they like or respect him.

    What's Maxine Watters got to do with anything (you are so vague and deflecting at times - lesson 2 from the Trump handbook) ... she is a strong and intelligent African American women who is willing to stand up to a bully for the rights of all those she can identify with. That's scares Trump on every level

    You've deflected yet again.

    The thread title is nothing to do about how the US is travelling with Trump. Try the thread "The US economy under Trump" if that's what you want.

    And it's not about Maxine Waters. Unless you count what Trump said about her, as we have been talking about his despicable name calling.

And no, she did not call for harm to supporters. According to your own quote, she called on people to push back (not violence) against members of Trump's cabinet (not supporters). One insult and two lies in a single tweet. And an implied threat.

    Waters is black, female, intelligent, and doesn't like Trump. No wonder he keeps up the name calling.

    I'm reminded of the playground.

    "But Johny, you're eight years older than her. You should be setting a good example".

    I agree with you guys, Donald Trump is a bad example and probably a horrible human being. Obama was faithful to his wife and kids while Trump was cheating on his third wife while she was in labour. But like you said Trump supporters don't care, they're just happy that he is getting the job done (which means trying to fulfil his promises) Stronger borders, pulling out of the Iran Nuclear agreement, being more independent of the UN, raise tariffs on goods imported to the US, move the embassy to Tel Aviv, Re-build the Military and Navy, slash Federal regulations, pull out of the Paris Agreement, Make the supreme court more conservative etc.... So far he is doing what he said he would do on most things

    I know there are hundreds of people on this forum but still, 11 people think Trump is smart? That's way too high. Fake voters? that's what they say. Response 2 is understandable though.

    She is a complete nutter in every way she promotes socialism yet has no idea what it is! She encourages violence to any trump fan

    Waters is everything that is wrong with people and politics of this world

    It may have been harass or bully. But that's not encouraging violence, as suggested in the post I responded to. And it was not against any Trump fan, as that poster also suggested - and has Trump himself also stated. I don't think that was right either, but let's get the facts straight.

    I believe the politician was Gabrielle Giffords. Except that she was a Democrat, and it wasn't this year. She was severely brain damaged, six others were killed in the shooting.

    No politician is immune to random acts of violence from anybody else. Republicans or Democrats are vulnerable. Because one was shot, doesn't mean that that everybody in the other party was a nutter. Calling out Democrats as a whole because of one nutter is one long bow to draw.

    However, a president commending acts of violence against a reporter is really going low. It wasn't bullying, it was supporting an act of violence.

    The attacks were on people that Trump had repeatedly isolated as "worthy" of violence ... his hand are not clean

    But there's a matter of degree and of frequency.

    Trump has been at it much more frequently, and more strongly.

    How many people have been chanting "lock her up" at how many rallies?

    But when Waters once says to push back against cabinet members, she's apparently the only bad one around. At least according to Fox News.
