I think Mr-Trump knows full well ,there are certain shortcomings that can't be overcome with effort..

But in the real fake news world , people's mindsets combined with social media and ten seconds of instant fame
would like and some do construct a artificial world around themselves and then think it will shield them from the real world..

But going down that road they find when reality hits and the balance levels out they find they are unprepared for the realities of the world and look for someone to blame..

The more I read about Mr-Trump ,I think you are dealing with a Man that understands no one can just wave a magic wand to suit everyone..

Smart.................. there are many ways to define that I believe

I have worked with people with huge IQs that couldnt tie their shoe laces..............

Cunning, tenacious, and 101 % points choleric is his public persona.

few of us would even know the real life of these types of people whose public face appears to be manufactured and very different

I, like lots of other dislike the guy but I am in awe of his media prowess. For someone who doesn't like the media he is playing them like a piano with a simple daily tweet.

    That really is genius.

His play in the Middle East moving the embassy & declaring /recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Isreal ****** off both sides (Arab & Jew) but was a master stroke. Both Nations want it as 'their' capital and have fought over it forever. This is boardroom politics - 'here's the decision (you both want it), now you lot go sort it out'.

The UN, especially the security council at the UN is a joke to me.

There are, and in some respects he is smart, in others no smarter than a house brick.

He is severely, severely unfit to be president of a knitting club, let alone the USA.

I'm pretty sure there is no unified view from Jewish people. The Israelis I spoke to were strongly against the move, as they saw it as a big step backwards in the progress toward peaceful coexistence.

Agree there is no unified view but I strongly suspect if you speak to Jews all over the world, more than likely the majority would agree with the move. No data of this of course just my hunch.

With regards to peaceful coexistence, as much as I am hoping and strongly wanting it to happen, I think its really unlikely as long as Hamas is in power. Hamas is a vile organisation on all counts, often subjugating its own people to its violence and terror.

I think Trump is clever and is very good at what he does (negotiating and getting things done) How that will translate into his presidency is to early to tell but so far he has done okay. US stock market is doing well, public confident with the economy, illegal immigrants down.
He was allot more articulate when he was younger though, he has also done some interesting things when he was younger and showed a few politicians up which they probably don't like. Wollman rink is a good example

I have no idea if he is a genius or not, don't really care either way:p

Interesting the poll - option 2, implies his support base are dumb, what did Hillary call them "the deplorables", I think I know who is dumb.

More interested what Trump has achieved to date, you wont read this in mainstream/libel media.

And Hamas is much more likely to attract the disgruntled when moves like this happen.

I don't think the embassy was moved for any practical reason except for Trump's daughter's religion. Kushner's job as a peacemaker is now so much more difficult. Indications are that Trump has trouble with long term strategically thought out goals.

I would really find this hard to believe. That Trump based his decision on the fact that Ivanka is now Jewish. Anything is possible with Trump, I'll give you that. But I seriously doubt that's the motivating reason.

Creation of Israel, 1948. On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. U.S. President Harry S. Truman recognized the new nation on the same day.
