I've just today (eight minutes ago to be precise) started watching this from the first arrival of the five teams. I was disappointed that our overseas trip meant I missed out and wasn't able to justify to myself just sitting and watching it.

I thought about just watching the reveals, but have now decided that I've done no exercise since coming home and need to lose the 2.5kg I packed on overseas, so I'm going to watch one episode per day whilst on my elliptical.

I'm killing two birds with one stone :D.

Good luck! It's a long haul (I watched less than half and I though that was a long haul)

The longer I watch the more kilos I might lose (if I don't go bonkers first) :D.

I've just watched the first episode and cannot wait any longer to get an answer to a question I have...

Are the pods they are making going to be where they sleep? The bathrooms aren't connected to any water or waste. I need answers :D. I cannot wait any longer to see how this unfolds.

Yes. Until they complete a bedroom to sleep in. And they must shower in a gym the next street over. For the entire series.

Only until they complete the first bedroom ... good luck with your watching ... I (who is a self confessed block-aholic) can't be fagged watching this season as it's pretty bland - and frustrating

I am only catching bits and pieces. I try to catch the reveal episodes. The daily whatever episodes seem a bit to much argy bargy between the contestants. Too much yap, yap not enough tap, tap as my cousin used to say. Tap, tap as in working.

I must be watching a different block!

I have watched a few the last week and the mid week ones are getting to me. That will guy and the girls are getting annoying.... but it could be the editing as they are all getting on my nerves. It's like they're all from Melbourne! :p normally you can pick the Melbourne entrant in reality tv shows quite easily

Imagine you are on a worksite trying to get some work done but people are standing around talking (yap, yap). You want them to be working (tap, tap). The block is too much yap, yap not enough tap, tap.

    Sounds like a good compromise.
Just imagine how much you could accomplish if you didn't need to watch it ;)

It's nearly over anyway. 3 or 4 more nights.

Haven't watched it since the kitchen reveal ... the last straw of nothing exciting or innovative ... move along

Those kitchens were ho hum at best. The best thing I have seen this season is the girls back lighting ceasarstone. Looks great!

yeah - but how often would you realistically use it.

Had the new house lighting drawn up by a specialist, a few week back, and she recommended "not" to install under top cabinet/floor level lighting as a waste of money ... I totally agree and had no intention of doing so

I'm on the air walker and up to episode 3. Do you think I can squeeze all the episodes in before the auction? :D

Hi Lizzie what did she recommend you do for your lighting??

You could of shared your ideas with the sparky and come up with probably the exact same thing and saved yourself money.

I would use under cabinet at night if it was on it's own switch, which is how I would set it up. I have fantastic lighting in the kitchen but it is too much for later at night. I mostly just use an old desk lamp plugged into a power point! :D

Was free in-house with the plans - Beacon Lighting ... you only pay if they come out to the property ... and no obligation to buy their stuff (but don't tell them that).

Lotsa downlights, with a few pendants in strategic locations - lots of "provision for's" as we have cathedral ceilings and so difficult to make changes - outdoor lighting ... the usual
