The best option in Melbourne SE for 600k

    Hallo
    I would like to have your opinion about IP in southeast melbourne. My budget is 500k but can be expandable up to 600 000.

    1. Small unit in Chelsea, Bonbeach or something similar with walking distance to water and public transport.

    2. House with some land, up to 650 sm in Hampton Park or similar in unpopular but growing area .

    3. Two cheap flats in low social economic area of Dandenong.

    What is the best option?
    What would you choose and why?

    Depends on your goals but I’d take the unit near PT and the water.
    With a small courtyard or garden could be reno’d and specced up to appeal to downsizers and retirees. Target market is likely to have $ to spend to stay in the area with family/friends etc.
