A bit of fun. No winners last year so maybe this year. I'm backing 1, 8, 11, 15, 18, and 19

All to come 1st place . And also to come 1, 2 or 3.

    Good luck all.

    THIS IS NOT A TIP!!!!!

This is what a mate and I have done:

    2 x trifecta’s:

    First: 3,9,11,23
    Second: 3,6,9,10,11,13,22,23,24
    Third: Field

    First: 3,9,11,23
    Second: Field
    Third: 3,6,9,10,11,13,22,23,24

The theory is that we have both 2 selections to win and most other possible scenarios – if 2 unknown roughies finish both 2nd & 3rd behind one of our winning picks then we’re done, BUT if 1 roughie runs either 2nd or 3rd as we have the field selected then we’ll catch it.

    Then the quaddie:

    Race 7: 3,9,11,23
    Race 8: 2,3,6,910,13,16
    Race 9: 1,5,6,7,9
    Race 10: 1,2,35,6,7,9,14

I got a late tip last night to include Runaway (21), not sure if I will do anything with this though, we already have it in the "field" so it would only need to be dropped in to the Quaddie maybe.

Does anyone know if it's going to rain later today in Melbourne, no 13 maybe if it rains but that may change as some of those NZ bloods stocks always seem to be in the final 150 mts sprint....imho..

Rain until 2 then showers for the rest of the day, the track will be wet.

    Got No.9 as a standout to come 1st, 2nd or 3rd in some trifectas, alternating with 1, 3, 5, 11, 23 and the field.

Cheers, we are down because of the Quaddie but still walked away with something from that hedging the bets theory, We are pushing the winnings into the Oakfield Quaddie on Thur, hopefully that does better :).

Interestingly we got the first 2 parts and the 4th part to the Quaddie, the 3rd race was insane, the top 4 were not in the top 5 favorites. The Quaddie paid $240,000 per dividend, it's only so high because of that third race but had we had that in there we would have netted 60% of that from our bet.
