What's the best way to do it? E-mail? Fax? Registered Post? Do I just need to say I hereby giving you <30/60> days notice that I'll be terminating the PM agreement for the property at so and so? Thanks
Hi Mini Are you going with another agency? Best way is to allow the other agent to handle the transfer - it's normal in this profession to shuffle paperwork from one agency to another and most agents can do it in the background without you even getting involved.
Hi @mini2 As @Xenia said - have the new PM manage the process. Mention to your PM - they may say they are OK to release you now.
Yeah will get the new PM to sort this mess out. I've been extremely patience with the current PM's and being overly sympathetic to this tenant who's getting on with her age...
Your current managing agency agreement will have the answers to your questions. Look at the length of notice required then fire off an email advising both the property manager and the licensee that as of the nominated date their services will no longer be required and that you all your files, keys etc are to be ready for pick up by yourself or your PM. Remember to place on the delivery and read option. Then also forward a printed copy.
