can I write my own 6 weeks eviction notice to get rid of tenant from hell renting a room , not paying rent nor bills, feigning poverty while he goes on holidays and buys luxuries .
Does it always have to be 6 weeks notice and what wording should I use
How do I get him out once 6 weeks r up
    He takes things without permissions
    Takes over whole house
Throws my stuff out of house
He was meant to do some work for me but never does and clearly has no intention ever to .
He’s lazy never does housework .

Ah, Justine, it has been ages since we have had one of your bizarre dilemmas to ponder. Do you have a lease with this person?

Just thinking about it. This person sounds a lot like a teenager. We're not talking about a child of yours are we?

Your tenants seem to cause a never-ending hassle.

Maybe best to sell the properties.

Maybe invest in shares as an alternative?

It’s actually for a friend that I posted
    He has no lease
Does he have to give 6 weeks notice as the last person this troublesome guy stayed with kicked him out giving him only a weeks notice apparently
    I know I’ve heard u can’t move someone’s stuff out
But if there’s no lease and the guys not paying rent and he took him in to help him out when he was kicked out of other place and I think he knew him before from a project they worked on together and are meant to still be working on but this tenant friend coworker is a lazy unreliable selfish person all round it seems so can he just tell him to leave with a weeks notice as oershsps its more of a friendship than tenant .
Yes the tenant is like a selfish unreliable teenager taking reeking havoc not paying not doing work he’s meant to do . I don’t want to see my friend have a heart attack like I’ve seen another of my friend had one from a similar situation

I’ve geard u can’t touch someone’s stuff to get them out

Is this considered more like a friendship or paying houseguest gone wrong they have a work rekationship but the guy isn’t reliable to do the work he’s meant to either
can he give him simply a weeks notice

Tell your friend to get legal advice.

Legally there probably is some sort of process or provisions for eviction notices etc.

Practically, tell the kid he's got to be out by the end of this weekend. If he's not, he'll come home one day to find all his stuff on the nature strip and the locks changed.

No lease, no rent. I'd kick him out right now. He was never a tenant, he was a "guest" that's overstayed his welcome.
As someone who has lived in shared for 12 years, I would urge you to do your due diligence in terms of tenant selection and not just take the first one that comes along.
