My dad is around 60. He was fixing up the power circuits at his rental property. Told the tenant he needed to turn the power off. Tenant lost it and pushed my dad down the stairs and repeatedly punched him in the head.

When my dad brings the police back with him the tenant claims my dad hit him first, when my dad didnt hit him at all.

I want to go over there and cave the pricks face in.

Short of that. How else can I get revenge on this ass hole?

Is your answer to any situation to 'cave someone's face in'? Seems to be a common theme. And you're the therapist.........

Follow through with the police and let them deal with it. Keep out of it would be my advice.

To be fair to OP if someone did that to a family member of mine then despite my enlightened thinking I would most likely use my best endeavours to smack their freakin face in too.

Follow through with the police... if your dad has injuries get that documented (by police and medical professionals) then, serve notice to terminate the lease using the proper protocols.

Have your dad's solicitor recommend a colleague to prosecute (he can the use his regular solicitor as a character witness if required).

At this stage my parents are kicking him out.

I told them to let me know when they enforce the eviction so I can be there.

Going down to his level would just end badly. And unfortunately a holes like him tend to get away with it and its the rest of us that seem to get caught.

Your Dad's big and ugly enough to look after himself and he's done the right thing by going to the police. He doesn't want you getting messed up in all this. Don't disappoint him. Sit with your feelings, they'll pass. Go for a long walk/run/swim or whatever. Support him and tell him what you want to do but because you respect him, you won't.

If a client came to you with the same, would physical revenge be your professional advice?

You must be fun at parties.

Make sure the pm gets tika notified and also to go over the place with a fine tooth comb to hold back the bond to cover anything.

    Or is this self managed??

Perhaps re visiting the strategy. **** putting up with that rubbish!
