    High court said tax debt of man should be applied to woman of relationship. The trouble was she was bankrupt so didn't and wouldn't pay. $250k wiped off and worn by the public.

    Wouldn't apply often, especially where one spouse is bankrupt, but could be a more common feature of property settlements going forward.
