What are people's thoughts on Tamworth NSW? I bought a 3 bed house for circa $140k and yield is $295. Growth is low but yield is appealing. Im thinking of getting another. Fyi - Im just playing with the cards Im dealt...after a divorce i started with $20k savings and nothing else...so my loan capacity only allows me to shop around the $150k mark. $300k properties are out of my range.
$140k+$150k= $290k Should've spent your max capacity on one property. $140k in Tamworth will end up a drug lab sooner or later. Avoid anything ending in "dale" in Tamworth....but unfortunately I'd say it's too late.
