    Ok so following on from this thread on Somersoft;

    http://somersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106408

    He offered me $500 to settle our of court and I told him not enough, so we went to court today. I managed to settle on $1,100.00 which wasnt too bad considering I paid him $1900 originally.

    I feel like I had a win sort of, thing is he refused to fix his dodgy work without charging more, used non genuine parts, charged me near on tripple the price of genuine parts and just seems to think this is ok ! he just doesn't see that he did anything wrong and will continue to operate the way he has been I am sure.

    So if anyone wants to know which " Not so Excellent" BMW Mechanic to avoid in Dianella Perth then pm for more precise details.

    By the way, if you think you have been ripped off, the small claims court process is quite quick and easy, a bit confrontational but that is the whole point I guess.

    Job Done.

    Good outcome @Chomp

    I don't think that's right on a public forum @Big Red

    Hi Big Red, there isn't too many BMW mechanics in Perth Dianella, especially "Not so Excellent" so hopefully that will be enough information for people to steer clear.
