    It comes up from time to time when a reporter goes underground

    Anyone else read about these tunnels or better yet been down there?
    Sydney water open up some of their sections to the public but the main ones are the railway tunnels around the city circle.
    It's amazing stuff! And I imagine it's all pretty well locked up now from the punters getting in.
    A big group that used to get into urban exploration and the tunnels was the "cave clan " but I think they have since disbanded. I last recall seeing their website available a good 5-10 years ago

    I did work in Bondi sewerage plant for a bit and there are sections under north Bondi golf course that are brick tunnels /pipes around 100years old. It's pretty cool to be down there

    One thing the cave clan were great at was photography! They took unreal photos underground
