It's a beautiful day to bathe in the sun. Ok, it's a bit hazy with the hazard burnoff, but just gorgeous for sunbathing.

Melb Mon Aug 14 - 18 degrees and blue sky....had the shorts and t-shirt on.
Melb Tues Aug 15 - f/cken cold, cloudy, rainy and heater on....blasting down as I type.

I have always found Sydney winters to be not too bad...relatively mild, with patches of niiiice.

Guess what; Sydney has more rain than Melb!!

Yes but Sydney do the it all in one go. It rained almost everyday in March this year. Sydney winter usually has the best weather compared to the rest of the year

Sydney winter? What winter? I swam last weekend at Bondi, swam yesterday northern beaches...so it's been 3 days between swims. That's the longest this year. Although I migrate north to Goldy in early July every year for a few weeks :)

Been doing a bit of research on winter weather on the nsw coast. Looks like it's been 18 and sunny most days. Must rain some other season (summer)?

Really didn't feel that cold today because it was as still as a picture where I was. Was astonished that it's the coldest in 25 years. Still, way better than struggling in a humid oven on the back-end of a Sydney summer.

I had ducted air conditioning installed last year, best money I have ever spent, whole house is warm, however the cat is confused as she is used to sleeping directly in the air flow of the old unit, found her sleeping on top of lounge chair which is as close to the ceiling duct in the loungeroom she can get ... :)
