Me three. That's why I moved up from Sydney. Also coz the creeks here are swarming with big yummy mud crabs.

    Cool :)

I suppose it limits the time smokers spend in front of buildings for their 3 minute breaks.

Geez, I knew Qld was behind the times, thanks for confirming that it is catching up and is now less than 2 years behind NSW/Vic ;)

I hate Sydney winters more and more every year. I know it doesn't get that cold, but I find the winters suck the spirit out of me. There is an English couple who stay in my Airbnb every year for two months in our summer. They are having a very modest retirement (as I will have) and their only wish is to never live through another winter.

Well the new times are all about sustainable living. Growing and making your own organic foods, foraging the seas, rivers and forests. QLD might be ahead of the times pretty soon! :p

You can't even use a cast net and have to pay for a recreational fishing licence down in NSW. pfft..:p

What do you mean by a net? We have the internet but I've never used it for phishing ;)

(Recreational fishing licence fees contribute towards sustainability of our coastal estuaries and freshwater fisheries).

Hmmm...you're moving and will get peak Qld summer? I'd time the move for April.

When the inside of our house is 16°C or lower, that's when I put a heater on...

It's timed to be when work want it to happen (how lucky am I that I can keep my Sydney money job and transfer there :)) and when my tenants contract expires (Dec 13) :).

To all those cringing at Sydney winters...Sydney winters are infinitely more desirable than Brisbane summers..:)

Just gone to Hobart on business trip. As soon as I got off the plane at Hobart I felt the chill. Lucky last 2 days has been sunny and no rain. Hobart is very nice, and not a bad place to live in!

Sydney's winter is definitely much warmer though!
