    Or the blue mountains? :)
Side note I love it... a shot from when I was Renovating last year.
We replaced the front and rear doors and 10 windows while this kind of weather was going on...

Just back from the UK fixed the jet lag by diving into the sea yesterday at beautiful Woorim. Just me and the dolphins...

Had a chat to a friend this morning who lives in Myrniong
(west of Melb, closer to Ballarat)

Said it took 10 min for the ice to defrost from the car windscreen this morning before leaving for work

Several minutes later when I stopped laughing:D, the subject was changed o_O

.. I didn't change my foot wear the entire year (sandals). Sydney doesn't need ugg boots!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I find Brisbane winters too cold and summers not quite warm enough. Cairns is better. Ideally, I'd like to live on the equator.

Just another few weeks to not get out of bed
(unless it is to pay the delivery guy for take away, or P&P )

What kind of bum do you think I am ? LOL

When you sleep in your car you're always out of bed (and a knocked off bed pan keeps all bases covered).

    Yeah Sydney winter sux.
Where I am now (SE Asia) there are 3 seasons - hot season, cold season, and rainy season. It is so nice that the rainy season is not cold and the cold season is not rainy. The combination of the two really sux over there and I sure don't miss it.

My plumber used to wear his steel cap thongs all winter. You could tell that we had a cold day when he had a pair of trackie dacks rather than his shorts.

Sydney weather is a bit *****. The storms are a bit much and flash flooding etc that goes on. Earlier this year it was a month of stinking hot then a month of rain. And now looking forward to the bloody cold!

What's wrong with qld summers? Atleast it's more consistent

I found wa to get a lot of the rain at night which was convienient. but rain in winter is unusual

I think that one is overpriced considering the floor plan. And you can get very similar (just not penthouse) views for 600k.
Not attacking your choice of apartment I quite enjoyed watching the video but it just jumps out at me as being a lot of money for that particular product.

Meanwhile it's 10pm and my front door is open. Brisbane weather is great.
We need the bullet train to the gc though because Sydney does have closer beaches (depending on where you live)

@Gockie is going to negtitate the price down to 250k for me.

My latest purchase in Brisbane is a beautiful house on the hill with city views and I was tempted to just move there.

May be I should set up a tech incubator in Brisbane or find a job in the university - lifestyle is much better than Sydney.

My daughter grew up in Canberra (minimum -8°C) and spent a winter in Calgary, Canada (min -30°C). She moved to Sydney and started complaining about the cold.
