Don't think the Druitt went up like that. Prices seem to have stabilised out here. Go the Blues!

In one of my markets, Alexandria, prices have pretty much stabilised (well, for units and apartments, anyway!).

Agree, my inner west properties have definitely slowed down. Suspect it might the more affluent Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore whose auction clearance rates are still running hot?

Both Northwest (Rouse Hill area) and Southwest have picked up again. There were opportunities to grab some discounted homes for owner occupiers that probably wont come around again for a few years

I haven't noticed much change in my properties.
It must be all in certain pockets of Sydney doing all the hard work

Eastern suburbs still have some room to grow I think- I keep a constant eye on the market to see how our PPOR apartment is going and also to try and snap up a bargain )for which there aren't any) !!

I think this makes sense- for a while there, you could buy a 1-2 bedroom OTP property in the middle of nowhere Sydney for a similar price to the Eastern suburbs- the eastern suburbs have great transport links and close to the beach and city- so if middle of nowhere is stabilising, it makes sense that the eastern suburbs still has room to grow.

Yep, houses in the east are about 10% higher than where they were at end of last year, just anecdotally what I see, not based on data.

Inner West is still going from what I hear from people who are keeping an eye on the market at the moment.

Where would be the biggest growth suburbs/areas for 2016 and 2017? Lots of infrastructure and major transport projects ramping up.

    Mtt Druitt.

Ok jokes apart if you know projects you probably also know where they are? Most are in the SW or around the new airport. Baulkham hills is past now...

But seriously western sydney will benefit from westconnex and airport development.
