    From this weekend's Domain. Homes for under $1.9 mill!

    Caveat.... none of them are freestanding houses. There are 2 semis and 2 apartments.... (strata levies: $2,560 pq and $3,904 pq).
    Oh, and one of them includes a car space on separate title.... "valued up to $250,000")

    It's like paying rent for a house you already own...

    Don't knock these properties. If a writer in Domain (not @Jennifer Duke) tells us it's a smart buy, then obviously it is a very smart buy. Don't question their opinion!:rolleyes:

    This is hilarious!

    Seriously who does Domain think their core readership audience is, when they have the audacity to label properties like that, as bargains!

    If it were in the AFR i wouldnt bat an eyelid. The AFR is pretty much built for 'The 1%'. To the 1%, those houses probably are 'bargains'...

    When i think of the 1% in Australia, i think of people like this:

    However the stamp duty you'd outlay for these so called "smart buys" would be equivalent to the purchase price of 2 or 3 good new cars...
    Still not a bargain!

    That North Sydney semi isn't that bad balue goven location etc.

    Out of my budget but seems reasonable imo.

    They're not investments.
