    Thanks to everyone who turned up (30 chairs, 8 standing) for event and double round of applause! (Certainly, wasn't expecting that!!!!).

    if there is enough interest, we can organise one more for the year!

    We can cover range of topics (inc, but not limited to):

    How to choose an area, what to look for?
    Bust some property related myths (Tax, finance, etc)

    We get asked some repeat questions at meetups and I will try and answer them here,

    Can you get bigger room?

    Short answer is yes!
    Long answer is NO. We try and accommodate 35 ppl. we believe that is good size crowd and makes it easier to chat with everyone.
    And there is cost part too.. @Shahin_Afarin picks up a tab for venue (and it is not cheap venue) and @Be Developer picks up at tab for catering and drinks.. on rough count cost is around $40 per person.

    Is meet up focused on Property Development?

    Yes and No. @Shahin_Afarin and @Be Developer are proeprty developer, so it goes without saying that discussion will relate to property development. but as @Kmac and others picked it up, discussion is related to general property investing too, as @Paul@PFI goes into length to discuss Tax and structure related topics.

    Can you run a full day seminar on Saturday?

    if any of event manager want to put their hand up for organizing one and it doesn't cost us few thousand $$$, we can look in to it.

    i think hardest part is to get all guest speakers in one room and that too for the full day!!!

    Count me in for the next one. Zoning discussion is of interest. Perhaps covering the major differences or similarities between how zoning is done in the various states.

    3rd or 4th weekend in November would be good timing. Everyone is usually too busy with end of year parties throughout December.

    it all good and fun, as you know we are not pro presenters....

    we are setting up another meet up at end of October ... and theme may be "Property Myth busters":):):):)

    I think @Shahin_Afarin was overworking his brain about his own development during the evening...it shows that he's never sleeping but mind on feasibility, profitability etc. Passion!
