    Hi Everybody,
Well, I said I'd bring prawns for Christmas lumch. Anybody wanna wish me luck or give advice for buying seeing half of Sydney generally also has that idea?
Also while I was in Bali I had amazing BBQed prawns at the beachside... should I experiment and try some recipe or just buy precooked? I know its Christmas Eve already! I suppose it wont be easy to do that recipe for a gathering of up to roughly 30 people...

You should have just stocked up in Bali and checked them in with your luggage, save a packet and no stress buying back in Sydney !

You can buy the marinated raw prawns in garlic and something else from Woolworths. They aren't to bad. The Sydney fish markets are preparing for a big few days as they have got 600ton of seafood. Get someone to take you there and just run in while the other person drives around so you don't have to find a parking spot.

Easier said than done - take the light rail and park down the road.

Hubby got up at 5am today to buy the seafood for tomorrow - to avoid the long lines.

This was the queue at Mooloolaba this morning .... We did not go that far.. We got ours at Caloundra seafood and paid $39.99.
Pic is via our local radio station and was posted at 9:00 this morning You can just make out the $24.99 price sign on the prawns.
