Sydney based looking to purchase in Brisbane as PPOR - looking for Broker

Hello,

I am about to purchase my first home. I work in Sydney most of the time during the week however return to Brisbane on weekends.

I am looking to purchase my first home which will be my PPOR. I am looking to build and therefore would like to apply for the FHOG.

Due to time constraints a broker who can help me out over email would be preferred. I am looking for a broker either Sydney or Brisbane based in case I do need to meet face to face at some point.

Any recommendations?

Plenty to choose from in those locations -
@Rolf Latham @Steven Ryan - both Brissy based, or for Sydney either @Shahin_Afarin @Redom spring to mind.

 

I'll second Jess's recommendations. @Michael_X is also great (he, like me, is from Sydney and now QLD based).

 

There's no shortage of brokers around here.

No, I was based in Brisbane but have a job which is based at a Sydney office so I am Sydney based most weekdays. I travel back to Brisbane on weekends where my partner etc still resides.

I still class my Brisbane address for which I am a leaseholder as my permanent residential address.

 

If your work isn't based in Brisbane you might have a difficult time trying to get an owner occ loan for a property that's in a different state to where you work.
