Supplementary Credit Card

    With regards to credit cards, would my credit rating or loan amount be reduced if I have a supplementary credit card? The main cardholder is my partner. The property and loan is only going to be in my name though. Thanks.

    Your partner is totally responsible for the debt you may run up on their supplementary card. I can't see how that card would be recorded anywhere as your liability.

    My wife's credit card was stolen recently. We didn't realise for a month, but I've never reported it as they spend less than my wife.
