It has a lot more room on the engine but restricted on the trans - could probably go reasonably comfortable to 290-300 with current running gear.
    - Blouch 18G XTR Turbo
    - Forged Pistons/Rod
    - STI bottom end
    - Larger head studs
    - Stroked crank shaft, so is actually 2.63L
    - 1000cc inj
    - Race dump
    - Larger top mont
    .....

I have seen some interesting videos of people TTing the H6 in a liberty, Always wondered why Subie didn't do that as a GTR rival.

I had a H6 Liberty once. Engine and the 6 speed box were terrific, handling decidedly less so (and that is putting it mildly ;). I think that is the reason......

sorry if i missed it did u end up with a SC or Turbo. i know a simple tune will fix the torque dip in the middle of the rev range. did u try that route before FI ?

my brother in law is looking at a used 86, thought this might be a good info for him.

    @KinG3o0o
I ended up changing the stock headers to a set of ACE CS400 headers and retuned the car.
It drives like a car with a bigger engine and the torque dip is no longer noticeable.
The rest of the dynamics of the car remain the same.
The car is completely stock, other than the ACE CS400.

Would I want turbo in the future? Maybe, but at present, I really like revving the car :D
I did jump in another person's turbo car (SME kit, tuned by PVS.... I wasn't really impressed, i did not get the "throw you back in your seat" feeling that I was hoping for.

I am keen to jump in another car tuned by another person to see if its a different feeling.

On the 86/BRZ pages, there are people selling off their Turbo 86's.
Currently listed is a guy in Cabramatta selling his ENGINEERED Turbo 86 for $27k.

Nothing worse than seeing this P platers 86's with 18" rims with stretched tyres.
My stockies handle better than those bad combinations.
