A quick update....since i moved my Super to Host plus - via ETF (IOO, VAS, VGS) and Indexed Balance my super has grown about 25k since January.

It does pay to be lazy..my target is to get it to 1.2m by 60....currently sitting on 500k odd...across 2 accounts (Host plus and AMP work fund but transferring regularly from work fund to Host plus).

A lot of people stick to one game - i.e. property but that could burn them. I see people invest most of their money into Sydney/Melbourne or one market in the USA...that is not smart. Diversification is a must. I have seem people lose a lot by not diversifying.

Nope - personally still waiting on Vanguard superannuation product before settling on a final solution.

I don't think much has changed that requires further discussion.

Is it going to be just one product or a few different ones depending on risk levels?

What do ya need to know?

I pulled my super out early 2020...missed the 30% drop...and then put it back in July 2020...it has now grown about 35% since then.....:D

I am now just a grumpy pensioner..pottering around causing mischief..;)

Well I think it is good result....it was just a balanced fund...but I don't mind. My target is to get to the 1.7m cap...I will make 110k deposits from 2023 onwards...but also will put in 27.5k tax deductible amount. I am watching it carefully as at some point it will take a hit this cycle (sharemarket).

Also ...have a ETF portfolio on the side...also.
