    I seen someone riding a bike in the bike lanes in the city today:p money well spent.

    I don’t understand Australians’ aversion to riding bicycles. Go to any northern or western European metropolis and they’re everywhere.

    Cheaper, quieter, healthier and in cities, often faster.


    I ride to and from work most days, but I don’t see a maximum of around 10 cyclists on my way.

    There is a bike path for much of the way, but cars are allowed to park in it, so it’s nearly useless.

    Bicycle helmet laws - direct correlation to requiring adults to wear helmets vs. participation rates.

    Green is no laws dictating it, red required. Other colours for children etc. Welcome to the unintended consequences of the all encompassing Nanny State.

    Meanwhile - how's our obesity rate going?

    I'm not against it but surprised to see someone using it this morning.
    For the lanes, parking and loading zones they take away I hope they get used.
